Changing more than one variable at a time is a big no-no if you are trying to be scientific, having said that I am guilty too. With a bad shave you never know which one or ones are the culprit.

Dom, What's your favorite TOBS cream? Almond was too drying for me, Avocado gives me a great shave, but the scent gives me a headache. I have St James, but haven't used it yet(actually I got the sample set from Shavingessentials so I have them all) but like you I have too many things to try.

Sorry to hear that, we look forward from hearing from you when you can.

Yup... only one variable at at time; however, when you can only perform one experiment a day and there are more things to try than days to try then before your next anticipated purchase.... the scientific method sometimes goes out the window... I am such a hypocrite.

Ahh.... college stamina. I recall when I used to stay up all night and get up whenever and be good to go... *sigh*. Now it it were me, I would make a point of dropping hints that I was going to bed early because I was so tired due to activities from the night before. But then again, the subtle hints to that effect would probably go unnoticed.

    Good morning.

Rolls - we'll see you when we see you, take care of your business first...

I, too, am guilty of making too many changes at once. And then I wondered why I wasn't getting it down. Thank goodness for "A Month of Tabac" over at the B. That taught me what consistency could do to improving technique.

    Morning all.

Dom tried the Old Spice Lime cream this morning. Darn good stuff, very impressed. I purchased some of the Noxema Lather Cream from a member here and should have it by the end of the week. I am excited to try it.

sol92258 I have no earthly idea

you get a lot of folks on your lawn in your absence? :happy097
I don't think enough time has passed for squatting laws to be enforced...::kar

but seriously, hope all is well and you continue to recover

yeah, did the three-straight-days-without-sleep........twice......back in those days, that was rough, but I could handle it then, I can still do two days if I have to, but with more recovery time needed
I've been wanting to get some of the Old Spice Lime cream for awhile, just haven't yet, sounds like something I'd like (also want to try the OS Lime AS)

Oh yes. I'm well aware of changing too many variables at once. :D I do it anyway.

The TOBS Rose is my favorite TOBS cream. Almond actually follows close behind. I'm not a big Avocado fan.

Take care of yourself, Rolls. I hope everything turns out alright.

Glad you enjoyed the Old Spice cream. It's really great stuff. I think I'll be picking up some Noxema Lather Shave myself after my experience with it, thanks to a sample Rolls provided.

I'm staying away from the Noxema. I know I'll like it, and I probably won't be able to get anymore... Same with the Pro Red. I was given a sample of that, but haven't tried it yet. I figured I'd wait until the TSD Red is ready so I can compare the two.

I have to say, I think LaToja and JMF are my favorite creams right now. But I still have crapload of samples to try still....
