If you need a tube or maybe even want to split a tube? let me know. I love the stuff and it doesnt look as it is going away anytime soon. I keep coming back to the stuff? Bad shave? go to the nox. I think the camphor is the magic ingredient in it but I dont know.

I thought the Noxema was discontinued. Hence all the hype about it (and Rolls talking it up, too...). I'm reading about a guy in Italy looking all over the place for it and selling the few tubes he happens to come across... Superlather.com says he's run out of it....

Matt - that guy in Italy is where we're getting it from. He found somewhere that has 300 in stock in their warehouse.

I don't know whether they're discontinuing it or producing it only in Italy or what, so maybe someone else can step in with that info.

I think that there is plenty left but not being produced. Gio seems to have it in stock but at $18:eek: not shipped. I believe Gio and Mark might have lost there wholesale connection? and Gio might be buying it at retail which is 5.50 euros. I would be amazed if someone had 300 stockpiled but that is good for us. Its one of those if you havent tried it then go for it! It sounds like a lot but its really not. I got 2 for $27 this last time. Even $15.....$8 USD + $7 shipping doesnt sound as bad. It is the 150g size also so it will last a while.

    Marnin marnin marnin!

My son (3 yr old) woke at 5:15 on both Sat and Sun marnin, and then we had to wake him at 6:30 this morning. I think he's doing it on purpose. :D

    In other news...

I finally got a good shave from an Astra blade this morning. Not great, but good. They just don't work for me.

Doug, my son (4 yr old) has the same problems sometimes. Just when you think you might get to sleep in on the weekend he reminds you that you can't.

DMS is still screwed up. It looks like I'm going to have to redo everyone here's moves for the month. Every bill, invoice, posting, etc is gone. :sigh:

Thanks. It's going to be a long week. I also have a few meetings and have to go to the courthouse tomorrow at the latest to file more paperwork for my divorce.

So far this year isn't good.

Anyone a fan of TOBS Avocado? I tried it last week and was not a fan of the scent when it lathered, which surprised me because I liked it when I opened the tub. Looking to trade for something else.

I am with you on the scent Rodd. It also irritated me a little. Should be easy to trade for, lots of people like it.

    Afternoon all.

Just sitting here with lunch waiting on goodies from the USPS and fighting off the blarghs. The headache from a nitro pill sucks, but it's acceptable when the blargh is there instead of the chest. And it is.

I'm familiar with that feeling, but something I have to keep reminding myself...things are only as bad as you expect them to be.
Yeah, some things are bad regardless of our expectations or attitudes. Some things just down-right suck. But these things are going to happen anyway, so we have a choice, respond or react.
Think of it as when you're sick and go to the doctor, either the Doc says "You're having a reaction to med A", which is not good, or
"Your body is responding to med A", which is what you want.
Preferable things are going to happen, non-preferable things are going to happen, but am I going to react, or respond?
Since I've been keeping this on the front burner of my mind, I'm starting to react less, and respond more, and a lot of situations that I would have let ruin my day or week, have been a lot less negative.

It likely isn't as bad as I make it sound, but it is a lot to deal with at once. It's all good.

yep, each thing in and of itself isn't that hard, it's when they all synchronize their attacks, deliberately I'm convinced, to hit all at once that it seems worse...but again, I make myself respond rather than react to those and it helps a lot...I can get overwhelmed way to easily, one task at a time is enough multitasking for me :ashamed001

That is why I just gave up and keep getting up at 4AM every day of the week. The dog and the kid both think I am not allowed to sleep in, so why count on it.

Sorry to hear that. Keep your head up - hope things turn in your favor

Speaking of being sick and the doctor... how is your wife doing now?

I knew I said I would mail that envelope off today, but no sense waiting yet... :D Actually I know the feeling, everyday waiting to see if something actually makes it to the mailbox.
