I love sleeping until noon, I should probably go to at least one of my classes today so I'll see you guys later

 

Saw Coraline on Friday. Awesome movie, if you like the whole "Nightmare Before Christmas" flavor. Actually, it quite reminded me of "James and the Giant Peach". I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 8 or 9 though... it has some pretty intense moments, and the old lady in rhinestone pasties and g-string was really unexpected. It was great though, didn't talk down to kids at all.

 

Goodies are here and in Show & Tell. I'm not messing with *that* case.

 

If I wasn't able to multi-task I'd drown. I'm good at it. Just trying to sort everything out. Waiting to find out is the worst part. As soon as I know what actually needs to be done it'll happen fast.

 

I really want to see that.

Sure... we believe you. Although, I certainly am not sure I want to take my almost 9 year old (egads... just 9 days to her birthday!) with Aspergers to this. It may cause undue drama.

 

I can understand that.

It's a good movie, but there's a lot going on in it. There's also a lot of subtext--it might be hard for someone who's disassociative.

 

Internet is mostly down at work again. Cox is putting in fiber and things are crap right now.

Had a damn good shave today The AOS SW revisited and really gets better after each use? Followed up with some Musgo Real and damn my face feels good. I got a POSSIBLE job in the works but dont get my hopes up until I am working Very good job too. Keep your fingers crossed.

 

I'll even cross my bunny ears for ya.

she's doing better still, low 99's temp, sore throat, doctor wrote her a prescription today, but said wait to fill it and see if temp is gone tomorrow.

Happy Monday kids. Just kind of lazing around today. Windy and blustery outside so it's an indoor watch TV, play on the computer day. That's cool.

Jack in the Box milkshakes are great. Their sirloin burgers aren't bad either.

My Netflix VOD stream box (the Roku) hasn't been working right since they did a software upgrade. Lot's of rebuffering, and downgraded video quality. Anyone else getting that? They had a perfectly simple box that did exactly as advertised, and then they went and "made it better." Grrrr.

TOBS Avocado is one of my favs. Smells like fresh cut wet grass. I may be inspired to use it later today if I get around to shaving at all. I've got a full tub so don't need any. Put it up on the BST Rodd, somebody will take it.

 

Whats up Shep! Musgo aint getting the love and I used it this AM Shep....I think your nose is a bit off b/c the Avocado smells nothing like grass to me? I personally hated the stuff and tried to use b/c it was supposed to work well? It burned my face!

Thanks for the luck guys b/c I realllllyyyyy need it. I am praying but aint celebrating till I get that check in hand.

Jack in the box was basically shut down in the south b/c of that salmonella scare back in the 80's. See them every now and then though.

Sorry Shep, can't comment on the MR haven't used the splash. I do like the cream, though.

 

I should rephrase the TOBS Avocado scent thing: it smells like the wet cut prairie grass of my youth up in SD. Not the Bermuda grass and other thick-blade grasses common here in AZ and elsewhere in the south. Prairie grasses have a sweet, dewy scent when cut and the aroma is enhanced after watering or rainfall.

That is the fragrance TOBS Avocado reminds me of.
