Things are things. Duty weekend so that sucks. Other than that it's all good.

Hi Dom.

 

I am part of a D&D campaign being run using the Iron Kingdoms setting. Iron Kingdoms is set in a world that is also used to run a minis game called Warmachine. It is the only setting where guns exist, they're powerful but slow and clumsy. Anyway I am playing a druid, druids are not well liked here because they are known to steal children to raise as druids. I'm pretending to be a fighter which I can get away with because I have 16 strength, leather armor and a 4 foot axe.

 

What, did I hear Jen and leather. Where, what did I miss.

Is this the one played on top of a table or do you use computers somehow?

edit: Dom, playing D&D on a PC just ruins the fun. We play in person with real dice and a grid map of the area

 

Just wondering. I saw "setting" and a couple other words that just made me wonder how you were playing on a table. I don't know anything about D&D.

 

Leather or spandex?

Leather, spandex and a table. I am in, where do I sign up.

 

oh, well basically your DM usually draws out a little map of where you are. It's either on a gridded erasable white board or just a big sheet of grid paper. There are books that describe the world, creature stats, character stats, weapons, stories. Everything you need to design a campaign. If you've never played D&D I'd suggest you find the nearest comicbook/card/dice/tabletop store and see if they run anything.

 

Just lost my interest in the game. Sorry Shep but the mental image of you, yatzee and spandex ruined it.:happy102

 

Err, ahhh, next question please....

 

Playing board games in Spandex is the only way to do it.

 

Umm, er, ok.

Maybe for 'certain' board games.

 

Dom likes spandex.



...and pleather.

 

I think Dom also likes body suits, remember those.

 

Bodysuits are hot.

So are MC Hammer pants.
