eek, not me, I have gone to a casino once and I about had a panic attack. Seems so stressful to me for some reason. Then again, I am not much for gambling.

 

Morning/afternoon everyone. Had a crappy time at the hillbilly redneck party I attended last night. Some dad was there getting his 17 year old son drunk while the kid was chain smoking? I laid low since I get silly around those type folks when i get drunk. Went to bed early and feel great today. Cant start drinking until 4 but its all good. Daytona 500 is today Just had a fantastic shave with Lavanda SC....damn that stuff is in my top 5 products easily! Doesnt get much love but who gives a rats ass! I will be in and out today.

Checked out my first estate sale this morning. Nothing I really wanted, but there was a Rolls for $30. Drops to $20 if it's still there after 1pm. Then $10 after 4. Ladies running the sale say the only Gillette was probably a Milady, and it went yesterday.

 

Just got done shaving with some Connaught Sweet Orange Cream. Darn that stuff is good. Managed to go only 3 passes and my face is feeling good and looking good. Why do I keep trying things when the good stuff is right in front of me.

 

We actually had some folks from West Virginia last night but they were at least sane. Kind of stupid but they were alright folks.

 

What the hell is up w/ all these parties you go to Shawn?!? I thought you was broke!

I couldn't gamble. I don't buy lottery tickets because I know I will be the person who gets the ticket that ends up owing 35 million. And yes, I do believe those tickets are out there... They are just waiting for me to buy them.

 

Oh I am broke. Cheap going to a party though. Show up with sausage dip and chips and I am set! Cheaper than renting a movie and ordering a pizza This wasnt a classy party at all!

I saw the movie The Wrestler last night. Good movie. Marisa Tomei is an aging stripper in it and is smokin' hot, especially at the age of 44. I don't like nipple rings much, but Marisa wears them well.

EDIT: Mickey Rourke was good in the movie too.

Lots of buzz surrounding that movie. Who knew Mickey Rourke was such a problem child. I always thought he was one of those freaky actors who was just lucky to find work when he could. Turns out he was grooming to be an A-list, in-demand boy back in the 80's. Then he flamed out w/ temper tantrums and drugs. He did make some pretty good flicks; I'll give him that. Anyway I'm looking forward to this one.

Shawn I see you're selling some AOS over on the BST. I tell you, I'm sorely tempted but honestly I just cannot justify paying that much for a soap. Your price is good don't get me wrong. It's just high because you need to recoup some of what you spent. AOS is vastly overpriced no matter how good it is. 'Nuff said on that.

 

AOS is grossly over priced. I paid $22 which is a good price and no way in hell I'd pay $46. Just the refills retail for $26? I am sure I probably be stuck with it but its all good. At least it isnt a bad soap.....I just dont need it.

 

FYI, for those that are interested get over to Superlather.com and put your name on the list for the Irisch Moos if you haven't already done so. Sounds like he'll be getting the first shipment in a couple weeks. I'm drooling over trying this stuff. Hope it lives up to the hype. A Tabac-like lather that smells like the outdoors!!! Me would likey that a lot.

 

I got that one coming from Baloosh....whenever WCS gets it, ships to him, and ships to me. I still think something is wrong with that shipment. 2 months? a raft could have been here by now. If the thing goes bust there will be alot of pissed off people since they have already paid.

 

Find a Tabac that smells like lime or another fruit, or sandalwood, and I will put my name on that list. Soap that smells like a farm, I think I will pass.

 

Hey now! Not all farm smells are rotten. Wet hay, cut grass, alfalfa fields......ahhhhhh. Old home week!

 

True, I admit that I can enjoy those scents, I just don't like it with my shaves.

 

No talking bad about Farm smells. As the Shep pointed out they are nice smells too. Got back to the hutch in time to catch the 500 woohoo... I root for the Dodge guys... but gonna give some good vibes to Joey Logano also. The kid can drive looks like.
