I suppose it could be a GEM... but his description could as easily been a bunny... or a pancake...

 

I hear ya. We got our taxes done today, that was about the most "productive" we were the whole weekend. Yesterday was a nice day just the two of us, the kids were at my parents....

 

haven't seen many bunnies or pancakes come in boxes round these parts.

 

HEY now... I can not help it that you can not use a serious peice of shaving equipment.
I shaved with my Micromatic this morning.. great shave as usual. It is not as nice as the one I sent you... but shaves good. I resurected another one from the dead tonight. It was on the back of the shelf all nasty cleaned it up to go in a box i bought for it.

sure they do... little cardboard boxes with little breathing holes. works fine till they chew there way out. Then there is mayhem in the car as the bunny is hopping around the floor and the kid is chasing the bunny and the parents are trying to not have a car accident. OK... those boxes are used more for mice and small birds... but I have seen them used for bunnies. Now pancakes... pancakes need a sturdier container... at least cast iron...

 

Hmm, maybe I should do my taxes, I need some play money

I'll revisit the cheesegrater someday, it may very well be operator error.
Did you see the green boxed gem on the BST. The plastic box is cool.

 

Well after all, that is one of the reasons I am on here. Educate me in the world of the GEM.

Bong had found a Gem Junior with the fat black plastic handle in box that he offered to pick up for me.. I have a razor like that but not the box.

Well that was about as meh of a Daytona 500 as I've seen. Can't wait until F1 season starts again.

And on that bombshell, it's time to say good night!

When I had time to watch them I would ship a movie out, and have a replacement 2 days later. I had the three at a time plan, and would have one in my mail box every day. Very nice. Now that I have a kid, we don't have the time, so I am on the two a month plan.

Goodnight Dark, did you head out too bunny? (that is one of those questions you can only answer if the answer is no)

It was a nice weekend. Made lots of sawdust.

 

I am still here for a few more minutes;... so the Knotty Badger was hard at work.

Good to hear.... those usually are happy weekends...

Didn't make too much sawdust just a few small piles of drill waste and metal shavings....

Had a few internal chuckles watching 6th and 7th grade students trying to cut pieces of wood with hand saws. They are wonderfully gifted students that I have in Science Olympiad. However, many of them have probably never been handed a hand tool in their life. There are days where watching them cut a board or screw down a part is just painful. But it is an experience that they need (too bad they aren't having it until they are 12 or 13!)
