Blargh... there's a bug going around, and I think it's finally caught up to me. Headache, sinus pressure, sore throat, and otherwise feeling blah.

hey, Rodd, did you see my post about the Valet Autostrop strop, a few posts up? Would you be interested in it?

I thought it was you, maybe it was Dave, complaining about how the strops are always in crappy condition....

I don't actually strop mine, I just use new blades. I think I will have to pass. There are SOOOO many sweet razors on ebay right now. Thank you though!

    Sorry! Get well soon!

    Rodd,
Forgot to use the Arist JR:( I had it loaded and ready but left it downstairs in the shave den. I will make up for it tomorrow. I am really hoping it works out for me:) I did get a rockin shave though with a 5 day red IP, Omega SC, Proraso AS splash, and Anherb lotion. Damn my face feels good! Only a couple shaves left though on the red.

    Wow, it that a Milady?
Those cases are rare birds aren't they?

Yep, It is a NEW Milady Deluxe. :) I now have the Orange and the Natural, still need the Jade Green case. I still don't have any of these in New Improved.
I am not sure how rare they are, but I think they are beautiful. One of my favs. :)

Morning all. Crappy night of sleep for me last night. Just when I thought I had kicked this cold I couldn't stop coughing.

    wchnu Duck Season!

i have a 1900 model Superior like that.. to me it is the most aggressive shave of any of my lather catchers. If that is the same and I think it is. there is no locking bar that dorps downover the blade it it just two spring catches on the side.. in the pics of my stuff it is the short one on the left. in the last picture I actually have the bottom half of a handle and a stropper that I hope will fit it on the way. You will love it.. if not give me a yell and I will take it offa ya hands.

Thanks for the info! It will work with standard SE blades though right?
Once I get it is there a way to tell what year it was manufactured, or do you just go by the patent date?

  17. wchnu

    wchnu Duck Season!

Mine does work with the regular SE blades... All i know is that it is early 1900 they had a different model in 1908 1910 1912 so on and so forth so between 1900 and 1908 is prolly a safe bet... Dave can tell more about that.

what are you connected to right now?

    scratch that, do this....

connect to the modem, where you have internet service (if you're already there, skip this step):

click Start -> Run, type CMD and click OK

    now, type: ipconfig
you should see quite a bit of information pop up, we're looking for a set of 4 numbers, denoted by decimals, should look like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, some of the numbers may be one or two digits instead of three, that's okay.
    write down the number

next, do the same thing after connecting to the wireless router, and write down the numbers, and get back to me

    wchnu Duck Season!

on the cable modem that is working
    ip address 70.188.108.108
    Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway 70.188.180.1

    on wireless

    ip address 192.168.8.17
    Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway 192.168.8.1

I see a problem there me thinks.
