The biggest problem is that they're not shave ready. No hones, no honing experience (yet)...

 

Post office tried to deliver a package from Bulgaria today. Woo Hoo! Just over a month since I bought that razor... Unfortunately needs a signature on delivery, so I still don't have it. :mad:

Got an eBay lot in today.

Honestly, I didn't figure that there would be anything really in it. I figured a cruddy fatboy and bunch of old styles and a NEW. basically spare parts.

What was in the lot of parts...

• F4 Fatboy.. Looks cruddy on surface but mechanics work smooth as any I have seen. Can't wait to see how well it cleans up.
• NEW Goodwill head. I finally have a Goodwill. Woo-hoo!
• Silver Plated Old Style head with thicker cap (102A)
• Silver Old Style with serial F558549 (1918 made - right before WW1)
• generic old style head
• generic gold tone tech.

The Godrej cream came today. Gonna shave it tomorrow. Not real excited to be honest. Just hopeful it provides a passable lather. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Getting better with this phone. It only shows a handful of lines from the forum at a time. OK maybe 25. BUT posting is a real pain. Every little smiley and icon is on a row by itself and it takes forever to get to the correct unmarked window to type a message. Of course my wife texting me every few minutes doesn't help.

 

I tried to TSD using my smart phone. Got fed up and moved on. Too much of a pain. Web browsing on a tiny cell phone is an idea that just doesn't pan out for me.

Long day today, but not bad at all. Got a much better night of sleep last night. I'm waiting on my Noxema Lather Shave as well, but don't expect that to show up for another week or so.

You guys talking about Wars shave cream are bad. Now I want to try some. Thought I had my ADs under control.
