Morning yall. Feel rough but it my fault. Had to go comment on the Jackass that mentioned Rodd not answering PM's....what a tool. Guy lives in Atlanta also. Shep.....will go comment on the AI soon...more than a few words of course I seemed to spark a little interest with the barbasol so I am going to shave with Shaving oil today and create a thread about that stuff. The stuff actually works good? Should receive as much if not more opposition as well. I notice my shaves are not as good after a night of drinking for some reason? I wonder if it does something to the skin? Who knows. I sure felt good last night though!

 

Hey, thanks Fuzzy for the vote on the Valentine's SOTD competition. I'm no photographer so I was rather proud of that shot, winner or no. Oh, well, there shall be other contests.

Hey guys. The gentleman who commented about my PMs was right. I lost track of his PM, thought I had responded but hadn't. It was my fault.

Sorry I haven't been around much. My wife and son both caught a bad cold, so I have been trying to run the ship. Times like these I realize how much my wife does around here.

I have a couple brushes that should be ready to go out shortly. Hope to post some pictures if it is OK with them. Slagglerock had me work with some wood dyes to make an Airforce brush. I think it turned out pretty sweet. I just have to glue the knot and do a little polishing and it will be ready.

I hope everyone here is doing well, I hope to catch up with you all soon!

 

Bong sent me a sample Palmolive and Speick stick as well. Haven't used them yet. I was too eager to try the GFT coconut....love that stuff. I'll give those soaps a go this week. All these samples we trade around is the reason I never use a product until gone btw.

Have I mentioned how great this Provence Sante Green Tea AS smells? Wow, Dom has been smelling this good all along?!? Who knew?

 

I bet he is bouncing all over the place.

I concur. I was in on the Tabac-stick exchange program and I found it troublesome (the stick, not the exchange, )

 

Glad to hear it arrived. Look forward to trying what you sent this way. Hopefully hot water will be back on by then.

Update on building utilities... water, gas, and electric are back on, hot water is off until who knows when. I don't have time at the moment to heat water and clean up, got to leave in just a few.

It has its fans but not me. Rubbing a stick on your face isnt something I care about doing.

 

Me either, but like Tracy my plan is to mill the stick (Irisch Moos) into a bowl. Then it's just like any other soap.

 

Haven't tried any sticks yet, going to order 1 from mamabear for camping though and give it a go.

I will be grounding my IM soap down as well. I might try it on my face once but it just doesnt make since to me.
