Just remembered there was a big antiques show at the big golf resort in town this weekend. After some of my trips, I'm gonna skip it. Especially since admission is $6.

Sleepover party was a success, no major incidents between the kids. They're just starting to go home.

Plumbing project was a success. I kept the water off all night to let the solvent cure. It says only 2 hours are needed, but I figured the extra time wouldn't hurt. Turned the water back on this am, so far, so good. :happy088

 

Dark, nice pick on the OS mug, I almost pulled the trigger on #4, I was glad to see when you wanted to buy it.

I Just got one yesterday

 

I missed out on #4 by a minute to a buyer across the street, so I got #5.

 

I don't know if it's like the one we just had here in York, $10 to get in, but it was all super high dollar stuff. Like $15,000 - $25,000 chests, muskets, furniture, etc.... Of course there was cheaper stuff, like the $30 shaving mugs (also $300 and $600 shaving mugs).....maybe only 8 shaving related items total in the whole place.....

Not me but here rave things about it.

You can honestly pick them on ebay for pretty good prices(w/o the soap of course) the soap is what gets insane prices.

 

There are a couple sets due to close tonight and tomorrow that are still showing decent prices. If I miss out on the Slim or another item I'm looking at, I'll consider one.

 

Mornin' boyz. Last early morning for awhile thank God. Wife was sick all night so I didn't get a wink of sleep. Figures.

Anybody else into B.Star Galactica? Is it me or is this last season just weird? And where's the action? Just a bunch of whacky flashbacks and disjointed story lines. Guess the series is going to go out w/ a whimper huh? <shrug>

Morning Shep! and matt! No B G here. Watched when i was kid. I hate science fiction with a passion for the most part. I can tolerate some movies but for the most part it gets to me..... We have this huge convention in Atlanta every year called Dragon Con.....some 30-40k freaks come out of the woodwork and dress up and take over downtown Atlanta. Damn stormtroopers and Anime chicks running around. Creepy.

 

Nice review btw Shep! Cant chime in since i have never tried it. Sounds very good though!

 

stopped watching BSG half way through season 2, got fracking sick of them saying that all the time, plus the story couldn't overcome the bad acting anymore.

Morning guys.. was going to sleep in but the roomie woke me up cussing that he could not find work clothes...I guess we need to do some laundry today


MIght rain here today also... I think I will go out for a walk here soon. Trying to spend about an hour aday walking like I use too. I want to see what 200 pounds feels like.. then what under 200 is like. around 240 now so not an impossible goal.
