Exploding? How the heck do you do that? My family has been making beer since 1640 and we have yet to have an IED go off in our houses...
My dad (76 this year) smoked forever and had the exact same procedure done as you about 4 years ago. It CAN be beat!!!
Had a week off. Spent it with family and friends. Went to Hot Springs, Arkansas with friends, where I picked up a new pipe (to be used as a bubble pipe for my steampunk costume), visited the Star Wars museum and got a cool new Millenium Falcon shirt, and managed to get one terrible sunburn on my shoulders and bald head while swimming with the kiddos, as well as got made fun of on stage by professional magician, Maxwell Blade (It was awesome!-- He called me "Harry Potter's dad). Then it was off to Beaver's Bend Oklahoma with family. We stayed in an awesome cabin with a hot-tub. Rode a tiny train. Ate a place called "The Blue Rooster" -- having recently re-watched Police Academy, I was hesitant at first, but it turned out ok. Finally watched the Lego movie (not nearly as good as I had hoped). And then there was that little bit of unpleasantness that is the cycle of life. Aside from that, it was a great trip. Now it's back to work. Wish I wasn't here.
Hey hey! Its been a long time since I was here last. My life had completely turned around in the last few months. I moved to a new city (as a few of you will know) and have a new job. I left my old job in Edmonton and moved my family to Calgary. My wife and I were on the same page so we just did it and pretty much up and left. It took a few weeks to find a job here in Calgary, but I eventually got offered senor a senior management position at a midsized oil valve company. I love the job and all my staff, its a great place to be. Better yet, yesterday my wife told me that I'm no longer stressed out of my mind. Its true. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to going to work every morning. Anyway, that's my last few months in a nutshell.
Welcome Back, Luke! It sounds like a fresh start for you. Having a job that one enjoys is a real blessing! My wife thinks I left the sane page some time ago…..
Busy day of waxing the oak floor in my study. This involves removing any furniture I can remove, vacuuming, damp mopping, and then finally waxing. A couple of hours later, I put everything back. It's a pain, but the floor looks great.
