Aaaand now the odometer of my son's moped completely stopped functioning. After inspection the cable appears to be broken as well. New cable: € 13.50. New odometer: € 60.05. Plus P&P. This thing is jinxed. Once you think it is fixed, something breaks down the same day or a few days later. Somehow the term "Neverending Story" comes to mind...
I hadn't thought about that yet! And there's plenty of petrol in the tank (I topped it last Saturday). But then all the smoke and stench will not be welcomed by SWMBO. Or the cops. Well, it's always nice to know how fast/slow you're driving. Speed limits and all that. Mopeds are allowed 28 mph max. over here (that's 50 km/h in real measurements! ). Oh, and within the city limits on our island max speeds are 18 mph (30 km/h). So yeah, a speedometer can be a useful addition.
Woke up unable to turn my head to the right due to a stiff neck and shoulder. Hot shower barely helped.
I get to play bachelor for a week while my wife is visiting family in Arkansas. Just wish it was better circumstances for her - her brother-in-law, whom she was very close to, passed over the weekend.

Woke up with incredible pain in my right arm. The only cure is to do nothing. Very frustrating very painful. It's now 17 hours later it's still a bit sore but bearable. And at least I can type now.

Yeah Chris I'm not even sure how they obtained my information, I use PayPal for online purchases, Apple pay it's rather frightening. The only reason I caught it was I checked my direct deposit. If it had happened mid-month, forget it. Pinched nerve? Rest is probably the only thing that would make it feel better. Sorry buddy.
Has your card been out of your sight at any bars/restaurants? I had an incident a couple years back where servers were skimming cards when they would close the bill, and try the card the next month. My card was used to purchase $1700 worth of flooring products in CA in person via a cloned card, per Denver PD and my bank. Praying for comfort for your wife and her family.

The only place I've handed my card over was at our local Taco Bell drive-thru last week. These crooks have gotten so good they can get you getting gas, money from the ATM, heck even walking by them. $1700 is a BIG chunk of change! I was told they usually keep it under $100 so you won't notice right away, or ever...
The bank covered it, but the store the crooks went to took a big hit. I guess my criminal went for the big score.
