Thank you for the kind words. Feeling a bit better today. My girls had me drawing pictures for them this morning. Always fun.
Glad you got your money back. It's scary how they can get your card details these days. Even using a cash machine (I think you call them ATMs) aren't 100% safe to use.
These days the bad guys don't need your card to skim it. Yust walking by is sufficient. Check "RFID skimming" on the Internet. Here is the Wiki link: => *click* <=. Last April, when my wallet was in high need of replacement, I got an RFID secure wallet. In this case a Secrid wallet. (Dutch design and build - five models, mine is the miniwallet). Here is their website: => *click* <=. I'm very satisfied with the thing. Nice 'n' small and safe! Mine is almost like this one (just a different type of leather). The Secrid vault holds 6 cards, enough for me. Of course there are a lot of different producers of RFID secure wallets. You might want to check them out.
I have the basic Secrid card holder. Very useful. It so small and light too. But now it's becoming possible to pay at shops by using our phones. It might be unnecessary to use credit cards in the not so distant future.
Too many issues with the phone to list (dead camera as well, and no light, no audible cues, etc.). For $200, (my deductible) my new replacement iPhone6 arrive today via FedEx. I'll try and keep the new one out of the laundry....
I loved the iPhone 6 the first 3-4 months of ownership. However, I dropped it two days in (non protective case yet) which broke the screen. $112 for a new screen. This latest 'laundry' adventure cost me an additional $200. You know my last phone: the EnVy— a relatively-cheap flip phone, lasted 4 years with no issues, no breakage.... For that snuggly-soft smart phone experience!
My youngest daughter (4) jumped in the bed this morning during a thunder storm, and when she did she decided to use my back as a trampoline and cracked it, and not in a good way. Now my lower back is killing me. Couple cups of coffee in me, ibuprofen and a hot shower (and shave of course). Hope this pain goes away, today we plan on taking the kidos to the state park were they have a fair going on tonight, assuming I can get my class syllabus typed out the rest of the way today.
My brother and I tried to learn Pinochle last night with our parents.....I feel so so stupid. Today I'm going to try and learn Spades since it seems a hell of a lot less complicated and maybe work my way back up to Pinochle lol.
I just scored negative 135 on super spades ahahahaha.....I mean if this was like golf scores I would be amazing. I can't bid to save my life and don't really know when to throw certain cards. Hopefully after today I'll be a decent player but we'll see.
Up to a few weeks back I drove a company car. Since it is over 15 years old en hasn't had much service, I don't expect it back soon. To be mobile again I bought me a moped today. It is a Super Cub, a reproduction of the Honda C50 moped. 4 stroke, 50 cc, semi-automatic transmission. 5 years old, 6061 km (that's 3766 miles) on the odometer. I'll give it a service tomorrow (oil change, valve check, spark plug check). It cost me more than I anticipated, but I guess it will run with less problems than my son's moped... Since it is a Super Cub and it is blue, I'm thinking to name it Super Grover.
