It's raining...... I love being woken up in the middle of the night by our indoor/outdoor free range cat. He sits at the front door and bangs on the screen door, I get out of bed and let him in. I go back to bed and he follows me, he's wet and lays on my chest purring. At least he didn't bring a huge RAT home this time.
Goodness it has been a long time since i was last here...I missed out on secret santa. Well my wife and I moved again. Things didn't pan out in Calgary, career wise, so we now live in a small town outside of the city (and closer to the mountains) where I will be setting up my own accounting practice.the ball is rolling on it to. I am finalizing things for bank financing to start up my business. I'm trying to get back into a daily routine...it's been hard with being out of work for 6 months, but hey...I'm normalizing. My father in law and his wife arrived last night for christmas, he lives near Pittsburgh. my kids are excited for him to be here. I went out the other night to shoot the Northern Lights at 1:30 am. It was a G2 storm so they were very active and nice and bright. One of the shots (will be posted in the proper thread) I have had a few requests for prints of it from family and friends...which is a first and makes me feel very good about the shot. Anyway...Have a good one!
Glad to hear things are improving, Luke. The new year, I'm sure, will straighten everything out. Funny enough, the LimeCat is scampering his way over to Calgary from Winnipeg as I type. And @ All-you-Canadians... 70F predicted here for Christmas Day!
Limecat referred to the 1 F (counting wind chill) of the other day in Winnipeg as "seasonally chilly."
I had fun tutoring my Afghan student, this morning. She has a cat & adores it. (We wind up discussing her cat, at some point, in nearly every lesson.) So I taught her the words to "Soft Kitty".
