I also like the opposite end of the spectrum. Ultra filtered (finer grind) Chemex coffee maker. http://www.chemexcoffeemaker.com/coffeemakers/classic-series.html
I got to shoot my big target bow for the first time since the knee surgery. It is a joy to shoot, but weighs about twice as much as my 3D bow, so I am very tired. I kept it short, so as not to stress my shoulders too much. That wasn't easy, because I was having so much fun.
My fiance is bummed out because everyone has something under the tree now except me. I sold my least loved guitar and bass so she could get me something. I'm hoping to get paid for it soon so shipping can get it here in time for Xmas.
I had a surprised visit by my oldest man son, we watch the 49er together and had a great time talking. I'm just like my parents were to me with my kids, I went into my overstock drawer and pulled out a 12 pack of new white socks, I also gave him a 1993 Topps Baseball cards LE autograph boxed set (sealed) I really like passing things along to my kids and grandchildren.
Today is my wife's birthday, and our son's FIRST birthday was this past Thursday. We had a big party yesterday for his first birthday with lots of friends and family and then went to brunch today for my wife's birthday. It's been a fun weekend of celebration!
I start nights tonight and was suppose to stay up really late last night so I could sleep in......obviously that did not happen. I love working nights though so I probably won't even be that tired. The only downside to being up right now is scrolling through the forums and adding a bunch of stuff to my wishlist. Edit: Well.....I'm now the proud owner of a Plissoft as well as some Cella and Amici by Italian Barber
Continuing annoyance with the sleep apnea situation. I can't sleep more than 1-2 hours with a CPAP machine and then I am wide awake. This has happened before and the only reason I am even bothering to try again is to get the doctors to shut the heck up & believe that this is not a viable treatment for me. Today's visit to the doctor resulted in a conversation where I told him repeatedly what variables WEREN'T the problem and he kept circling back to them. The one thing he did right was to refer me to a sleep specialist who might (hopefully) have some greater insight into the problem. As I see it, until I know why this is happening, a solution is not forthcoming.
I've flip flopped from days to nights and vice versa several times in my life. Takes about two weeks to normalize. And blackout curtains. Two weeks and blackout curtains.
Snowed in here in northern Colorado. You know it's bad when Amazon tells you your shipment is delayed due to weather. Talked to my son who just moved out on his own. He has beer, food, and a new PS4 so he's good to go. And on the bad side, my car needs a new heater core that won't even arrive before Monday and will cost upwards of $1,000 if not more. :/
The problem is I could go from days to nights then back to days in less than two weeks. My schedule is constantly changing being a contractor which is why I'm hoping I get this new job.
