What, you living in NY now? Got about 2 to 3 feet where I am (hard to tell exactly due to wind drifts).

Well, I am (not sure about the penguin) [IMG].

The difference between living north or south of the Merrit. :)

only way to get 2 feet of snow down here is to take a yard stick, break it off at the 23 7/8" mark, then measure...and still come up short of 2 feet

Nah, just a case of "Texas snow" (or lack thereof)

actually, I do have an amusing anecdote about telling someone that they measured something from the wrong end of a ruler once...he didn't think it was as funny as everyone else in the conversation did....and that's all I'll say about that :innocent

This week has been really challenging.

My father passed from a heart attack while drinking his morning tea and reading his email.

Thanks Jo. Even though he was in his 70's it still comes as a shock. He was at his doctor a few weeks ago and was given the all clear and set an appt for April.

As much as it stinks, he was in his 70's, was active with friends and community, and was always grateful that he could make a living doing stained glass. I am thankful that he was happy and for the time we did get to spend together. He out shot me and busted my stones on the sporting clays course the day before his passing.

Dale I am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like your father lived a very good life. I hope you can find comfort in that.

I lucked out on my taxes = I won't be paying any for 2012

The down-side is that I won't be paying any taxes because my income was nil, now that I've graduated college and have to actually get up and go to work every day I'm guess I'll get shafted some next year.

Today started bad, got really bad...then something ironic happened that cheered me up...it was too funny.

Bad - woke up with my right side completely seized up from sleeping funny...it still kills

Really Bad - I got my performance review from the boss tat is trying to Mae me quit...needless to say it was awful ad full of garbage. So that ticked me off. But I still get a chance to comment on it before it is completely closed.

Ironic - One of my buddies was thinking of someone I could intruduce my sis in law to (blind date) and it turns out he's planning to ask her out...he just didn't know she was related to me until I showed him a photo of her. Lol!
