We are taking a little vacation in PA. Poking around an antique shop in Lititz, I scored an antique microscope. Pics when I am back home.
Thank goodness Cinco de Mayo has sunk. From fraudulent debit card charges to "fraudulent" drivers' licenses, it stunk. Who slams on their brakes in the left lane because they need to get over to the exit they are milliseconds from missing??? Don't mind the rest of us going 70 mph. We will be happy to die so you don't miss your exit.
Back from our trip; we had a great time. Here is a pic of the little microscope we found. It dates from the late 1870's.
Has this ever happened to anyone here? I was in the zone from when you go from awake to sleeping and I woke up. Kinda like the middle ground. It was so strange, uncomfortable and darn right scary. It does take me about an hour or so to shutdown, I'm also a very light sleeper. Anyone? Thanks! K What a great find.
Never had that. But every so often I'll jolt awake and it takes a few for me to realize where I am. Also I'm one of those you don't touch me to wake me up. Even the wife tosses something on me to wake me.
On Friday morning I walked out to the parking lot of my apartment complex and found that low-life thieves had stolen the right rear wheel from my car. They left it on a rusted solid jack, so it was extra fun getting the spare on. I don't have insurance on this, so it's on me. Tire and wheel coming from brother-in-law, hubcap and new wheel locks coming from ebay.
Someone tried to do that to my car when I was first married... luckily all they got away with were the lug nuts (I caught them in the act and tried to take them out with my oak training katana...man did they run!!!). So I can relate...and I'm really sorry! I FINALLY got some charcoal for my grill!! Tonight isn't BBQ night because my girl has cub scouts, but tomorrow will be!!! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
