Got up at before 5am to drive over to parents and then drive them to the airport. They don't like taking taxi cabs. I don't either. Anyway they want a personal send off. They even try to pay me.

 

I ate fried mahi tacos yesterday. My stomach said negative. We will see "How is my day". It is to be determined

*I knew the person calling me would get a laugh out of it, I called her right back - still risky if it was something serious, but I'd already caught wind about what she was calling for...and no, not her fault, still having VDI growing pains, uggh

Not really 34Km / 21 miles NE. No use going home so ended up at work 1 hour earlier.

 

Busy day; after physical therapy, I had to bring some clothes to the tailor. Then a quick trip to the supermarket. Got home & found the shofar (ram's horn) I ordered. The goal is to learn to play it for Rosh Hashanah services, next fall. At our temple, anyone who can play one, is invited to do so, at the service.

I can get a little sound out of it, so shofar, so good!

Every year I attend a men's retreat, (actually we call it an advance) where several men bring shofars. I was telling someone about a man who had his shofar, and she said, "He came down in a limousine"?

 

with my new health care plan, if I need physical therapy, it's possible I will get the same PTist who helped my Mom.
