It's the time of the season for penguin brisket.

 

Just finished hosting my folks for lunch. They are retired and leaving for 6 weeks Wednesday to Mexico where they meet up annually with the same crowd and my aunt/uncle. They deserve it and worked hard for it.

 

Wife's out of town... So I'm drinking whiskey and playing piano... And once I'm done playing piano I don't know what I'll do. Read a book? I'm almost done with the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Read through these forums? Even that gets old after a while. Maybe take a hot bath and shave... Lol... I'm a little buzzed. Had a couple whiskey sours and a shot of 151 proof black rum. Jeez that stuffs hardcore.

What to dooo....

 

@youngunn Here are some ideas..... Take a walk, turn on Netflix (recommend the Mr. Self ridge series) take a cab (uber) to visit family or friends....don't drink and drive.

 

You could always drunk post to tsd..... oh wait...

 

I never drink and drive... Heck I hardly ever drink. I'll probably watch Netflix then read. Make some dinner ... Talk to the 3 cats lol

Bought some haslinger Scafmilch from TVBshaving even though I just bought soap... You know lowered inhibitions and all lol

 

Couldn't tell by the first game. Really didn't care who won, I just wanted a good game. Hope game two is better.

 

The Texans need to develop a quarterback. A mediocre quarterback combined with a poor offensive line isn't a winning combination. Defense can't win games on it's own.

 

even great QBs struggle with a poor offensive line.

 

The day is going great. A friend sent me Primantis Restaurant sandwiches from Pittsburgh to Arizona so I could enjoy the Bungles imploding and allowing Pittsburgh to move on to play Denver next week. That could present some challenges!

Gentlemen. Just in case anyone would like to delve into further football talk. There is a section on this forum here.
Not saying this is not the area, just FYI.

 

Today has been a repurposing day. I had a DR Harris shampoo that I don't use but I found out it makes a wonderful bubble bath. I mean it makes a good, manly relaxing bath.
I have a Trumpers sandalwood soap that smells great but isn't a great performer. So I removed the soap and now that's a nice smelling hand soap. Can you use a shaving soap as a hand soap,will it kill any germs?
I thoroughly cleaned the wooden bowl that once contained the Trumpers soap and now my DR Harris Sandalwood soap resides in their.
Now watching the 2 of 3 televised football matches (soccer to you guys ) and playing with the kids building snowmen. It's been a very nice Sunday

 

Any soap is fine for a hand soap. BTW, any soap, if left on for about half a minute or so, will do a pretty good job of killing germs.

And as Sara said (in essence) soap is soap.

 

If you have a shave soap that doesn't lather well, but you do like the scent, you can boost the lather with a squirt of Kiss My Face (KMF for short) unscented shave cream. As I said it will boost the lather, but it won't kill the scent. KMF is available in grocery stores, Whole Foods, or most anywhere they sell "all natural" products.
