How's your day? July 2015

Not been sleeping so well. I didn't sleep at all last night. The night before I got about 4 hours of sleep. But things have been OK today. Getting ready to go on holiday tomorrow with the wife and kids.

You know that when you go to your regular outdoor/patio restaurant for your mid-day-running-errands beer and they give you an extra half beer for free that you are either doing something really bad - or really right.


Also - don't cry over spilt beer

 

I bet the waiter gave you someone's unfinished beer.

 

Arriving at this discussion late but, was saddened when I heard the news news that the Canadian icon Tim Horton's , was bought out by the parent of Burger King.

 

If I hadn't seen him pour it out of the tap I might had agreed with you but...well, I'd hope the alcohol would had still killed anything nasty

Alcohol percentage not high enough, unless you were drinking scotch.

 

First day of our holiday has come to and end. I'm exhausted and happy. Here's the view and it's not too bad.

 

Yesterday evening my son, one of his lady friends and me went to the cinema and watched te Minions movie. It was fun, though the 'Despicable me' movies are even better. Still, a good movie and we recommend to stay in the theatre until the end of the credits. Some more fun in store for ya! No further spoilers.

 

I went shopping on eBay and had a blast

My left thumb is stiff and very sore, I don't recall doing anything to hurt it. Being a lefty this is a major inconvenience, I've tried icing and a deep massage by my wife, no relief. Getting old........... Not fun.

Today is my beloved's birthday.
I'll be taking her out to lunch today to her favorite sushi restaurant. I remember taking her out on a date in college, celebrating her 21st birthday, waaaay back in 1979. Had japanese food back then, too!
Next Sunday we'll celebrate by getting away to Mendocino for a few days…
