Waiting in hospital in Dallas, daughter just had eeg, now waiting for MRI... Have I ever mentioned how much I hate driving/surviving this city? (Rhetorical question... I always mention it anytime I have to drive here, know I'm going to have to drive here, or even think about it have night terrors about it)

I have for arthritis but not for this particular issue. I have an appointment in a week.

 

David, that's exactly what I'm going through! When I turn my wrist and try to grab anything, I can't open the jug of milk with my left hand. Thanks for the information.

 

So true. But if you follow up with a doctor it's just being informed.

 

It's hot in Houston today, I have to take frequent breaks to cool off.

 

Busy day- we went to the archery store to order some arrows. While we were there, we shot at their range & then went out for lunch. After that, we ran assorted errands including a stop at the liquor store for a bottle of wine & some StrongBow Cider.

 

So I unknowingly hired a 14 year old kid and his two younger brothers to mow my grass through Facebook. I almost felt bad about it since it's been over two weeks since it's been mowed even though I told him that through Facebook. Thinking back I think it's better than have hiring an adult. It's summer time and it's good to know they're out learning responsibility instead of playing video games all day. At least they can earn the money to buy their own games now lol

 

Today was my last day of physical therapy.

 

I mowed yards when I was a kid, it was a good way to earn a little pocket money.

Of course, the customers sometimes got irate when I marked my territory....

 

They'll just have to take the good with the bad (and there you have, the Facts of Life)

 

I had dinner with the three most important ladies in my life - my Bride, my mom, and my sister. My mom moved into assisted living a couple of months ago. The staff there is fantastic (skilled and loving), and she really likes it. I give thanks to God for being so tremendously blessed.

 

Lol I think I took that way differently....glad it was only me

 

Hi guys, just wanted to stop in and let everyone know that I'm still alive. Been dealing with life and stuff, not the least of which is that I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Things are beginning to settle down and I hope to get back into the discussions here.
