We saw it today & loved it. The story was a bit rambling, but still fun. After all, it had Minions! There were lots of references that would go over the heads of kids & younger adults. Since we are neither, we laughed our heads off. Do stay all the way to the end of the closing credits.
Being a naive Canadian, I have to ask this. The song Pee-wee Herman sings about Texas, is it real? It goes "The stars at night, are big and bright (clap clap clap clap) Deep in the heart of Texas!" I have been wondering for years...well since I first saw the movie when I was a kid.
Wife and I went to see Jurasic World the weekend it came out as I loved the first movie. Special effects were awesome but the plot was really lame. The first had enough science behind it to make it believable but this one was just silly. Don't want to be a movie spoiler so will leave it at that. Kids in the theater loved it!
We got the car back today!!! Everything worked out okay, except the idiot in the body shop who glued the drivers door panel also glued the window controls!
Planning our anniversary. Taking my better half on a dream holiday in January. Don't tell any one it's a surprise.
I liked that we got some of the Minions' backstory. And, I found it interesting that I could pick out / understand certain (non-English) words of Minionese.
PSA! PSA! PSA! PSA! If you have a chance to play beanboozled please do. It is absolutely disgusting! That's probably not good advice but it's a fun little game to play with the family and I think I scared my kids of eating jelly beans now haha
You can fast forward to 1.20 . Basically it's really nasty jelly beans mixed in with regular that look the same. For instance the black ones are either licorice or skunk.....and I got skunk.
