Spent most of the day at my Mom's house... she's 88 today. Pleasant time.

Sadly, some of the early Penguinator experiments were not entirely successful.

 

I bought an Amazon Echo Dot, which I have just about set up. It's fun figuring out all the stuff it can do.

 

We have quickly learned to avoid saying her name unless we wanted to have a conversation. "Did you tell she-who-must-not-be-named to set an alarm?"

What? Did one of the Penguinators get caught dropping trou at Spring break again?

 

There is also a penguin moon..usually happens around January..but it doesn't fly...

I spent some time getting Alexa to work with my alarm system, Ring video camera, thermostat and Bose sound system. I'm still figuring out some stuff about the right verbal commands to get it to play music from my library.

 

Try, "Alexa, play my Polka music"

 

I don't have any Polka music in my library. Too bad, because then, she could be a Polka Dot.
