The weather is delightful. I took a couple of bears for a ride (they all want rides) in the new car/spaceship. We went to the mall, where I sold off some gold bracelets I no longer wear. I used the proceeds to cover the cost of restyling some other pieces of jewelry. Later, I will head out to the park & do some shooting.

It's Friday! The final day of a busy week. Our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) —a half-day weeklong event of music, fun, food, crafts and classes on our campus where we host nearly 800 kids from Pre-K to 5th grade, along with 150 volunteers and staff. It requires months of planning to pull off successfully and plenty of effort. A shot of the young media guys I oversee, working the daily opening gathering in the sanctuary: plenty of worship music, light show & dancing prior to the break out of activities across the campus.
I feel good.. my wife and daughter are home, I slept like a baby. Now I'll go back to regular scheduled eating habits. Go Dubs!!
Poor hubby is sick with an intestinal bug. He's not a guy who calls in sick willingly, so he's not just being a baby about it. I will take him to the doctor in about an hour.
Ya wanna know about my day? Someone cooking steak just set off the fire alarm-everybody out! The trucks and police are still here, but they let us back in.
HOT! Finished up the rest of the yard work we started yesterday. I see more grunt candy in my future. Oh yeah and a very hot shower too. UPDATE: Decided on 4oz. of Barbados Rhum instead!
I went to a meeting of my Bonsai club today. Very enjoyable; I am hoping to propagate some Japanese Maple cuttings I got there.
