Anyone care to *ahem* own up to this....

 

Isn't there supposed to be an "antiquer's high" when you find something priced under value? I'm clearly a mutant. I found something really wonderful (shave related) & priced very low. But I couldn't pull the trigger. I felt guilty, like I'd be robbing a small business owner (& oh the bad karma!) I considered giving a bigger bill & tell him to keep the change, but that seemed insulting. I plan to go back on Thurs for a "do-over"

 

I definitely had a high when I scored my aristocrat last week. It lasted a couple days... It's not bad karma to get a great deal on something unless it's just priceless and it's like an older person who doesn't know better....

 

My neck and back are hurting pretty bad...

 

The 60's haven't been that good. The 2nd 1/2 seems to have the potential to be worse.

 

$2 for a Fatboy in case - not one ounce of guilt.

 

Hope today's a better one. Day 2 post-fall can be rough (I've done lots of field research ). Let Ibuprofen & heat be your BFFs

I've never even intentionally looked at that sight until now, clicking on your link. I've seen cross-over posts on facebook, and accidentally stumbled on it following searches or links.
Still don't get the big deal about it

 

wife and middle child are down with a stomach virus. and it's Holy Week and I have 4 sermons to write and deliver. And Easter to arrange. Bring it.

It basically is cool because you favorite cool pics of cars motorcycles etc and share with other people. Once you're setup it makes more sense.

 

Well you DO need a way to collect ideas for tricking out the new ride, right? Pinterest was a necessary evil. Like vegetables.

Best wishes for a swift recovery for your wife & daughter. I've never thought about the fact that as a priest you can't really get "extensions" for work. I hope you stay healthy & have a productive week!

I've been watching my wife use it for a couple of years now, and it slowly dawned on me how it could be useful. It's a great way to catalog stuff you like from the web. I'm planning to use it to mostly keep track of artwork that I could use for reference in my own art, as well as a platform to show off some of my own stuff.

 

It's been around that long??? I only just heard of it like in October

 

Interesting...kinda like facebook or Google+ then?

 

Eh sort of, its more like you see something really cool and you cut the picture out and tape it on a board in your room. Your friends come over and see all your interests you've pinned to your board in your room. Only on line. You can make a board for anything, I have ones for cool cars, tech, food, stuff I want, home improvement ideas, etc. I need to make one for shaving now hehe

 

That is the best layman's terms description I've ever heard of pinterest.

 

Had a doctor's appointment this afternoon, and was struck with a migraine (nausea, shaking, sweating, the works) just before heading out for it. Managed to survive my visit with the shrink, but as we were driving away, we had to pull over so I could puke for a solid 10 minutes. Within 15 minutes, I was fine--no headache or anything. It was weird.
