Not feeling good. Tempted to go back to bed.

On the bright side; I think my frozen shoulder is starting to thaw. <-- Can actually do that with both arms now

And Amazon sent me an email this morning letting me know Rich is 50% off today. Odd. I always thought he was normally "off" more than that.

 

I'm trying to wait and see if I feel better. Besides, those guys are noisy! Who can sleep with all that racket??

Some movements still cause slight pain, but the overall range of motion is improving. The earliest posts on TSD I could find referring to my frozen shoulder are from May 2012. Those had to do with me going to see a chiropractor and a masseuse. And I know I put those off for quite some time from when I started experiencing the pain. So, I'd say this problem started early 2012. 2 years of excruciating pain!

 

It had it's good days and it's bad days. The worst was sleeping. Sleep on the bad shoulder, it hurts. Sleep on the good shoulder, the bad shoulder still hurts. I can sleep on my back sometimes, but not all the time, and certainly not for 2 years straight.

Pain management (Arnica, Advil, heating pad) and exercises (strengthening and stretching) to deal with the pain, and just living with it.

Everything I've read says frozen shoulder lasts about 18 - 24 months. So, I'm about on target, I guess. I won't miss that feeling like your shoulder is being ripped out of the socket. I mean literally. Well as literally as someone whose shoulder has never been ripped out of the socket could comprehend. I've dealt with a lot of physical pain in my life, but this took the cake.
