Great Sunday! Spent the afternoon at home with Mrs. Samurai, did a little organizing, read a bit for fun, posted to TSD and am now going to watch NBA playoff on DVR minus commercials. Right now I am watching soft rain fall and lightning crackle across the plains... Couldn't ask for an easier day! Have a great Sunday evening!
Tomorrow I have knee surgery. I just want it overwith, so I can start to heal. Today, I am taking care of last-minute stuff, like getting a haircut (OK, I got them all cut) and watching some videos on how to walk with crutches.
Got some mandevillas for the wife and four tomato plants today. Got them all planted. Beautiful day here in North Cackalacky. 50% chance of rain.
Hubby's car is in the shop, so he has mine today. So I am channelling my cabin fever by doing some crafting. So far, I have refilled his shave soap dish & PSO bottle (both with lavender scent) and made 20 tubes of lip balm. 10 are honey-flavored and 10 are creamsicle flavored.
Odd day. I thought it started well - rather productive. Now I find myself thinking about maybe dinner and a movie - and it's 2:30pm....
Counting today: 3 days... WOO! I get to do the devo tonight after bible class. Doing about 10 minutes on John 8:58 and Exodus 3:14. I'd be looking more forward to it if my throat weren't a cheese grated wreck.
I subscribe to text messages/alerts from the SF public transport Muni/Bart and you just know it'll be that-kinda-day when this comes in in the morning: "Major delay in and out of san francsico due to equip prob at CIVC. Pls seek alt forms of trans."
Indeed. If you really dig into the meaning behind the specific translations and all the linguistics of it, there's also some connections to Isaiah 43. It's really pretty fascinating, but way too much to cover in 10 minutes.
