I seen the movie in theaters twice. It was a crowd pleaser. Charlize Theron was the real star of the show, IMO. This is my second favorite Mad Max flick. Nothing beats The Road Warrior, for me. I want to play the game, but wifey says I can't have my PS4 until Christmas She hates me.
I got the Xbox year before last during tax rebate time. I use it as much for bluray as I do for games. Netflix and YouTube get a good amount of time on it as well.
Friend's kid goes for an MRI today to find out more about the spinal fluid build-up on his brain. Praise God, his mother got a job this week! She had two prospects, and of the two, the one she preferred was the one she got. So that's a plus.
Good on her! Hope the MRI clearly shows what the problem is and that it may be something that is easy to cure!
All quiet on the home front. Chicken has been in the Dutch oven for an hour, the cats are all sleeping and I'm waiting on the mail carrier to bring me some goodies. Life is grand. PTL.
After my weekly volunteering job at the Tram Museum, I saw that one of the local farmer had harvested his onions. Over here is is customary that passers-by are allowed to pick up the left-overs. So I picked up a plastic crate and some plastic bags and got me some onions. Saves me a few bucks. I'm turning more and more into my granddad. He used to do pick onions (and potatoes) as well. And blackberries for jam (like I did as well a few weeks ago). He did pick even sea lavender and samphire (AKA glaswort or pickleweed). Only problem is you need a permit for picking samphire and sea lavender and there are many more applicants than there are permits. Who knows, I may try and apply for a permit next year.
Nice relaxing Saturday! Had a great shave this morning. Only 80 for the high so the AC is off and the doors are open.
not much going on. It has been too windy to fly quads, paint rockets, or disc golf. So, did laundry, watched football, and now watching Nightmare Before Christmas.

Super thrilled that the baseball season is basically over - it's getting a bit old to always have the embarcadero jammed with traffic every other day. One more game to live through today before this mess is over for a while
Mike, I was just talking to my Uncle Ralph in South Dakota the other day about when I was a kid picking corn off of someone's farm, he said folks still do it today, especially after the harvest. Pretty neat.
