I'm just happy it's cooled down some and the daily high temperature starts with an "8" instead of a "9". I went from a place that was cold 8 months of the year to a place that is hot 8 months of the year. At some point I need to find a place that meets the middle ground.
starting to get the bills from daughter's surgery. ouch.. thank goodness the insurance is covering most of the bill.. but ouch all the same. I love this time of year when it is cool enough to not want AC but warm enough to not need extra clothing. Of course, I suppose I am the only one who finds that to be the case. Here I am walking around the grocery store in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and all the people bundled up in their coats and hats and glaring at me like I am Northwest Indiana-ing wrong.
That's one thing I do like about where I am, in New Jersey right across the river from Philly - all four seasons are pretty equal. An hour from the shore, two hours from the mountains, NYC 2hrs, even Baltimore and DC can be done in a day. I can be in New England in less than 3 hrs. Did I mention I'm right across the river from Philly. Now reduce the cost of living and thin out the traffic, spread out the neighborhoods a bit and Pennsauken is near perfect
