Made it back to stately RetLEO-07 about 1730. Unpacked the SUV, put crap away. Gonna do some push-ups, take a shower and watch the Yankees blow a 5 run lead. It was 8-4
Now it's 8-7

 

Chillin' today after making it back from Georgia.
No more road trips for a while.
Gonna kick back with a cigar and adult beverage after dinner.

I got out this morning for an early shoot. It was a delightfully cool day.

I'm about halfway through the new Dutch lessons on Duolingo.

 

Now if we could just get 'em to use DE razors....

 

We're off to PA for a little road trip (my first in the hybrid). We will be doing some shopping for furniture, some archery and some general touring.

That's 'cause they make everyone pay to get out of the state.
I can only think of one bridge going out of NJ that you don't pay a toll - Lambertville to New Hope, PA. All others are toll.

 

I thought you didn't pay outbound on the Verrazzano, but do pay on inbound.

 

I'm not sure. I've only used the GW and Tappen Zee when heading to New England.

 

You are correct, but the Verrazzano does not connect to New Jersey. It joins Brooklyn to Staten Island.

 

Doh!

 

When the state gets into fiscal problems they can jack the tolls up a few thousand percent. People will still pay to get out of New Jersey.
