    Update on the coffeemaker:

    It turns out the coffeemaker is only Mostly Dead!
    I took it apart, plugged it in, and it was working again?!?
    So I put it back together, and am in the process of cleaning it, because once you see the inside of your coffee maker, you realize how badly you need to clean it.

    "How 'bout that Wildcat!!!"

    I know, it's kinda lame, but it's better than just "touchdown". At least I think it is.

    Tired, just coming home from a two day motorcycling trip to the Eiffel!
    Wonderful area in Germany, even more wonderful we stumbled upon a original Weinfest and drank a nice Riesling! [​IMG]

    Though I've never been, Germany has always looked like the sort of place I could call home. I think it doesn't hurt that I am partially of German descent.

    Neolithium I am Canadian, eh

    Finally get some bills caught up - then discover I need to get a passport issued to me by the first week of October because I'm going to Texas in January. I love the nice $110 fee to rush the application, ON TOP of the $160 fee that is already there to just get the stupid little book. I hope the Army reimburses me for this wonderful kick in the wallet...
