The reviews aren't great though apparently it's done well in the box office. Haven't seen it yet..hmm..maybe I'll end up seeing this one only 4 or 5 times...
I decided on a wallpaper .... And, I got to read bedtime stories to my godson after he told me all about his first day of (pre-)school. (He loved it.)
Whew... what a weekend. First off, our High School boys finally won their first game after 4 years of trying! Had to leave immediately after the game, though. My aunt of 67 years, who has severe mental disabilities and epilepsy, was rushed to the ER. Her heart rate was at 50, her blood oxygen level was at 50, and her temp was 80. We nearly lost her. Turns out she has pneumonia and was dehydrated. Spent the rest of the weekend sitting in hospital rooms. She's been moved to a bigger hospital and put in surgical ICU where they can monitor her more closely. I think they gave her a feeding tube last night, and started weening her off of 100% oxygen. It's tough.
Well, she started the day off well yesterday, responsive, etc. Then they discovered that her feeding tube was actually dumping food into her lung. Now they're going to have to do "a procedure" and suck out the foodstuff they pumped into her already overloaded lung. Bless her heart. On a normal healthy person, it's stressful. On her it's magnitudes scarier because of her fragile nature. I was so mad at the hospital I could have spit purple. Then... wait, nevermind, I'm not gonna unload on you guys. Let's just leave it at this: yesterday sucked, today doesn't look spectacular either.
Had my health screening at work today - supposedly this will knock $300 bucks off my premiums next year. conclusions are: 1. I'm overweight 2. I have elevated blood pressure 3. I get stress from work 4. I should exercise more I was of course, fully aware of all these items. 3 of the 4 items above my doctor has told me every year at my annual physical for the past several years (I can't remember how many).
Absolutely beautiful day - temps in the low 60s, not a cloud in the sky, and 21 pounds of fresh picked Macintosh. Apple pie for desert tonight, boyz! Ya know, there are times when this unemployment thing isn't so bad!
Not sure how far you are from Mystic, but I can make it from there to my place in about four hours. Leave now and you should be here just as it's coming out of the oven. Oh, and pick up some vanilla ice cream and a block of cheddar, if you don't mind.
dggbaaaa....gbbdaaaa......abddggggg.....something Holy Carp what a day week however long it's been. Busy busy busy, and everything still isn't in full swing yet. Soccer practice and games just started this week, as well as Bible Drill, plus the kids' homework is really starting to ramp up, along with everything else (at least dance hasn't started up for my daughter yet...she still has high school band practice on Monday evenings). Just haven't had time to visit here much lately, other than a few seconds now and then on Tapatalk. Anyone got a cloning machine? Micah, think we could get FOG to work on people?
