If you have barnacles on your dinghy, may I suggest that you have a bigger problem then can be cured by a doughnut or two? In fact, you may wish to see a trained medical professional.

 

Truth be told, I got it taken care of at the "shell" station. (and I actually did take the car there yesterday, so it counts even if shells aren't piratey enough)

 

I bet it was a real beach.

Today was the first day of Rose City Comic Con. I'm a full time volunteer there, I do it ever year. This pic was taken this morning before the doors opened during the unofficial R2 Unit Parade. There was about a dozen of them, and they're all hand built by a group here. This was when they were all being loaded into their area while they could have the run of the floor. A little blurry because those suckers are fast!

Many years ago the statewide testing fell in mid September. As it happened, it usually fell on ITLPD. Which means we had extra fun telling the kids to make their Maaaarrrrrks heavy and daaaaaarrrrrrrrk.

 

migraine today. Had to get a ride to work because I couldn't see. Now I need to focus on not vomiting until I can leave. This is my 12th night in a row. Worked 2 double shifts and a 12 hour shift in that time. Day off tonight.

 

I hope your migraine let up so that you can enjoy your day off tonight.

 

my brain isn't working too well I meant to say tonight is night 12 and tomorrow is my day off. Days get confused working nights. Tonight to me is tomorrow to everyone else.

 

My two kids (daughters) are home. Had to fight for bathroom time this morning!

I wondered if that was what you meant. However, I know that when I have a migraine, anything I type can be confusing as can be to others.

crud in a turd bucket! Gradebook program e-mailed everyone in my 3rd period class that they had an A on the test instead of just the ones that had the A. Ugh ugh ugh... Time to eat crow (because it probably was my mistake) and be embarrassed for quite a while as people lose what little faith they had in the program.

 

Or .. since everyone "got an A"... someone must have leaked the answers. Therefore... RE-TEST! /evil_laugh
