How's your day? September 2015

I had jury duty today. Before noon, we were told we weren't going to be needed, as th case was settled. So we were told we could go home & our obligation was met. Easiest jury duty I have ever had.

 

I've had it twice. Served on a case in DC, case was settled here in MA.

 

being home for lunch is better than serving.

 

not much to report.. not much going on (kinda odd). Things have just been normal the last two days. Tired and busy, but nothing unusual.

Never had to serve jury duty, got on the list twice, but each time I was given a number to told to call each day for a week. Each day I was told I didn't have to report. I didn't have to serve, but I had to make sub plans and have a sub on standby each day, so I did a lot of work to prepare to go, but didn't have to go.

 

Our youngest son is here with our two grand babies. Baby Addy turns 1 on Friday!! I gave my son a couple of tins of soap, it's so strange I offer him pretty much anything he wants and he never wants much. Simple kid. Good kid! He makes me very proud.

I had 2 days of jury duty last month, and that's exactly what happened too.

 

Great day. My son is a film editor. Nothing big, but getting more experience. This is a music video he edited recently, and has been picked up to be played at a couple of film festivals. I am a proud father.

Well, summer is officially over, so Happy Fall, Y'all. Do they celebrate Halloween in Denmark? It looks like @Norseman is already handing out candy. He's much shorter than I thought.

Saddened today to read that Yogi Berra passed away. I never was a Yankees fan, but Yogi was one of a kind.

 

Well, avitars can be deceiving. For example, I'm actually much taller.

 

True.. may hair is much shorter (shaven for that matter)

 

Embarassing of me to forget that fact. :-(

 

Lol, that was great. Unfortunately that is not me, it is my uncle. He always had a bit of a sweeth tooth. But we do share some of the more common family traits.
