I love wearing my contacts, make sure you use the solution your Doctor recommended and change your case often. I change my case when I open a new bottle of solution, the case comes with a bottle.
Late breakfast at my favorite dive bar/breakfast place on the water here in the city Delicious breakfast sandwich w/ eggs and sausages, great coffee and wonderful outside patio view of the bay - all for $7
Been a good day so far.....got some chores done...bought the paper so I can cut out some coupons(my envelope is low). Had a good breakfast with coffee& a bit of Saigon Cinnamon(I'll probably have this around for 5 years-it's like having a 90 oz. bottle of aftershave lol).
Funny you should say - they are actually going through a re-branding this year - new logo, tag line, etc.
Last night my son and I set the alarm to 3.30 am and we had a great view on the lunar eclipse. I put two chairs at the back door whwew we had a good view. Just like a tribune. Luckily there were no clouds. The eclipse had already started (at about 2.10 am) so the moon was already partly in the dark. At the full eclipse it looked beautifully red. I still have to steal my son's camera so I can post the pics he took. Not sharp of course (dslr at 2400 ISO, so a lot of image noise), but still nice pics. The stars were very visible as well! At 4.30 we called it a night and returned to our beds.
Monday started as a Monday for me. Luckily I was in a position where could choose to turn that frown upside down, walk away from it all and go about my life. I went to the gym, stopped off at a car dealer that can't do paperwork properly to shake my fist at him, had a quick lunch and then went to the shooting range. So, not so shabby.
Sure is Tuesday. Yesterday was a doozie. A friend's son, let's call him an adopted nephew, went to the ER with massive headaches and nosebleeds. So far what we know is he has fluid build-up on his brain. We were getting updates from his mom on the phone while watching my wife's nephew play football, and he took a hard helmet to the knee in the 3rd quarter. So, off to the ER we went. Looks like a hairline fracture in the femur. Prayers for the kiddos, please.
As promised: the pic my son took og the lunar eclipse last monday morning. Lotsa image noise, but still. reminds me of them good ol' days...
