Thanks. I still have to add text, which will be either Hebrew or English, depending on the intended recipient. (Some of my friends & family read Hebrew and some do not.)

Well things are slowly looking up for me...finally!

I am hired as the head of finance for an energy startup, it's all pro bono for now as it is a true startup looking for funding...but that's OK.

Also I got a job as a night produce clerk at Safeway, here in town. I've been there for a week and seem to be doing alright at it! Unemployment in the area is hovering around 10% so I am ecstatic that I have something at all!

So that puts an end to 14 months of unemployment!

Also I have been getting back into photography, a lot more into it than I already was (I have 2 weeks of seminars coming up). I'm thinking of going semi-pro, doing portraits and weddings. I can easily undercut everyone's prices, and I know I'm better than 90% of the people out there when it comes to photo composition. I firmly believe that photography is about capturing the subject. The picture should tell a story about who's in it...and be composed nicely. Too many local 'professionals' in my area lack this. their pictures are nice, but don't speak for them selves. Bah! Enough ranting.... ;)

Anyway I am thinking if going semi-pro, and I am building up my portfolio (I am also volunteering at my kids' elementary to do school photos of events for the yearbook).

These are some photos took of my girls today. The group one I'm not that fussy on, but the individual shots scream their personalities!

My oldest is soft and caring...always worried about how others are doing, before she worries about herself. You can see that concern in her eyes, and yet her soft, caring features.

My middle child is full of mischief. She enjoys pranking people and being silly. She is brimmiewirh energy and always on the go. Notice this as she refused to look at the camera, and looks as if she is about to explode into a sprint as she sits there.

My youngest is cute and knows it. She is is carefree and just loves life! Even when she's sick she sings, laughs and refuses to let anything stop her from enjoying her day.

And lastly here's the group shot...it's sums them up perfectly! :)

Had a nice time at a friend's wedding yesterday. My wife and I took this selfie by the sunflowers.

I hadn't seen my female student in a while, due to changes in her schedule. But I went on line to work with her brother today. He was outside at the time, as this is the eve of a holiday. But I got a pleasant surprise when the girl answered, because she was on her brother's computer. It was great to catch up with her; I had really missed her.

My wife and I took a friend to the range for her first time shooting. We had lots of fun!

All of the above! Way to go, Luke!

    Nice couple!

As for me: I had my practical exam for stoker last Saturday and succeeded! So now I'm officially stoker/apprentice machinist. And tomorrow I'll have a job interview as quality controller in a canned food factory.

Normally, I'd say that you probably have the job in the bag, but I guess it will be tinned this time. :D

So I'd best bring a hammer and a chisel? Or a plain ol' can opener?

A can opener is probably easier to get past security.

Today I went to the range & began to train myself to shoot with both eyes open. It's not easy, but I am beginning to make some progress.

Come on cooler weather, pumpkins, football, pumpkins, Thanksgiving, pumpkins, football, cooler weather, Christmas, pumpkins, cooler weather, and football.
    Did I mention pumpkins? :D

Hoping I can start getting back to more than a fly-through on here soon.

Depending on one's accuracy, it may not make much difference.
