How's Your Day? September 2016

It was a good day. I went to Temple, which is always enjoyable. It was also fruitful today, as I got some needed help with my Shofar-playing. I will (for the first time) be among the Shofar players at this year's Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur services. It is the custom at my Temple to invite anyone who has a Shofar & wants to come up & play it, so we usually have 4-6 people come up.
Last year, we had only one, which made me a bit sad, so I bought a Shofar & decided to learn to play. It's a little bit like playing a brass instrument, such as a trumpet. In this case, I've got more guts that talent, but a better musician gave me some useful input.

 

I had dinner with some new friends and had a blast. And, I'm getting very close to completing the Dutch course on Duolingo. This morning, I also made a pork loin for during the week and a little over 1/2 a gallon of gravy (tomato sauce) from scratch for the freezer. I'm tired.
