I didn't eat anything between lunch and dinner. Shouldn't that count as intermittent fasting? Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
I fell off the wagon last weekend but enjoyed it. Found a really, really nice family style buffet in Clearwater. It'll be our new go to.
Starting up the fast again, this time 18/6. Go big or stay home. Wait, I am home, under soft house arrest. Food window just closed at 2:00.
Corona really knocked my diet for a loop, as I'm sure it has most people. Since I get blood drawn next Friday, I really want to make a dent in it (I know the numbers can't be great right now). As of today I'm on an 18-hour fast, window of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. My understanding is that you can eat pretty much you want when that's how small your window is, but still going to stay away from wheat and other carby type things.
Been consistent since starting, weight is down about a pound, I'm fine with that pace. Early lunch: a nice cobb salad with 95% avocado dressing and some parmesan cheese crackers (no starch, they're actual baked cheese). Been eating a lot of healthy fat, moderate protein and next to no carbs, along with the fasting. Also avoiding anything with veg/nut oils. Body isn't responding quite as quickly as it once did, but it'll come.
Blood sugar stabilized, appetite much reduced. That makes I.F. a lot easier. Can't imagine doing it if blood sugar still spikes up and down.
