Hopefully you’ll get to go home soon. A friend of mine recently had the same issue. It took a few weeks but they were able to reconnect him and he got rid of the bag. Lots of folks at the den thinking of you.
The Pfizer vaccine at least has been linked to serious ongoing adverse medical reactions, per a German study. I suspect the finger pointing and blame game will be ongoing for decades.
Sorry to not have said Get well soon yet but we have been dealing with a bunch of illness in our household too. Kids missed the WHOLE last week of school and Alicia and myself have been down too..... Well Feel better soon....
@jaro I hope your family is on the mend. I started on clear liquid diet today. My tastebuds are happy
Glad the surgery went well, and super glad that your taste buds are getting their share of the fun of digesting food again! I am hoping that the recovery will be speedy and uneventful (apart from happy events, that is ).
Home at last! I got home from the hospital around 4:30PM. Still very weak, so they wisely sent me home with a walker. Caught up on opening packages (stuff ordered just before I got sick); that’s always fun. This is a long road to recovery, but I’m on it, which beats the alternative, Thanks for all of the kind words and prayers.
Happy to read all went well! COVID on top of everything else is no fun (UNDERSTATEMENT)! I pray you'll be blessed with good health this year and your recovery is speedy! —Kevin
@HolyRollah thanks. But a speedy recovery is not an option. I still have a big surgical incision that is in the process of healing. I will be using colostomy bags for a few months and then they will reattach my colon. Still, I’m here to tell the tale and grateful to be here to do it.
