....and I bought a sewing machine today. For fifteen dollars I got an old cast iron beast that will sew through 1/4" leather and fabric. I just sewed the flap on Chris's bag in 2 minutes. By hand it would have taken an hour.
Very stylish! I feel like it needs to have dedicated pockets for a pipe and for a nice bottle of scotch.
Highlighting the handiwork @youngunn and the taste of @Darkbulb I think it's a classic...like this: I take it with me on days like today. I used the Samurai Bag for a week in NY, and am now breaking in the Imperial!
Just finished a camera bag for Jr reyes. It is made from these two coats: After over a month of work, here is the end result. Hardware is rescued from an old bag I chopped up. Has 1" dense foam padding on all sides and bottom and in inserts. Custom hand embroidered hummingbird to go with his wife's logo of business. Adjustable shoulder strap with cushion shoulder pad. It took some doing but the end result is something I'm proud of and JR can happily give a unique gift to his wife. Thanks for looking
