Very sorry to hear about your fall. You have my prayers and my best wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope the surgery went well.
Still praying for you. I searched for posts and see your posting here and there, so i assume your getting by. One word of advice, have someone close to you get a big ole bottle of hand sanitizer. Keep it on the tray in front of you. Invite anyone to use it. They normally have it on the door, or right inside. But people are people and sometimes forget. While the nurses are nice, they are also going from room to room. Im not a germaphobe, but an infection could set you back badly in a weakened state. Look at Cummings (lord bless his family). If your already home, great. But if your going in and out for surgeries, a 4.99 investment in health can't hurt.
Thanks, @Enrico. God is very good to me. I graduated to a cane 10 days ago. I started real PT two days ago. They put me through the paces. I have achieved full extension of my bad leg, and I am getting around quite handily with the cane. In the house, sometimes I will get up and take off without the cane. I get stern looks and rebuke from SWMBO when that happens. The PT has really helped, but it made me return to some Aleve. Oh, yes, I even get to drive now.
