I went with the (existing) close-crop for the (existing) balding look.

Now, if I ever get goofily asymmetrical, off it all goes!

Too late for me. I'm already there.

Been shaving my head every day for about 10 years now.

Comb overs look ridiculous, so I would shave it clean. Fortunately, at almost 44, I have a full head of hair, so it's a moot point for me. :taunt002

JayKay 3000 posts and all I got was this lousy title

I'm not balding. But I keep it shaved down with a buzzer with no guard and an open comb. Apparently it makes me look angry. So for the moment and for interviews I'll keep it just a tad bit longer.

I chose shave it but, for the sake of completeness, you forgot to list transplants and hairweaves or am I showing my age?

I'd shave it off. Better to be bald than balding IMO.

If it was just on the top I could always dye the rest orange and sell burgers.

Well, first I went into denial as my hair thinned. Then, when it was obvious even to me, I clippered it using a number 2 comb. Then 1, then 0. Then one day while I was in Greece and without clippers, I shaved it off. And that was that.

Never thought of a comb over, they are ugly

Rogaine not around when I started going bald

Tried close cropped hair but . . .

When I first discovered the tiny "hole" in my hairstyle at the crown of my head my wife suggested at toupee. Of course I would never be that vain and I responded, "I'll shave it all off first!" And that is just what I did. It is a daily pain to shave it but I like it, my wife likes it, and my daughter likes it, so I keep it.

This is actually happening to me - major thinning as much as going bald up on the dome. Right now, I'm just ignoring it and not doing any of the things mentioned in the poll. It seemed to have been brought on my a major stressor that happened in my life, so I'm wondering if it will go away eventually. If not, I'll likely just keep doing what I'm doing, with maybe a WEE bit of combover.

I'd shave my head... I used to anyway. :)

Just retired from the military. Wore close cropped hair for as long as I can remember. I don't see any sense in changing now...

    Enjoy your shave... :D

Moot point for me. I've joked in the past that I'd be a perfect hair donor, way too much and too thick on my head.

I think I'd crop it close since I'm afraid I have a lumpy and unattractively shaped noggin. There are some people who should quit shaving their head and just wear a rug already. Hey Costanza really looked fly with his toupee, the Shatner. :D

Crop... I have too many bumps and curves on my dome to shave it.

This is an easy one for me. I close crop because of the thinned dome already.

Put what is left in a ponytail and roll on. Generally, I just ignore it. :D
