That's true and yep Kurt left so it's back to them trying to do everything. Wish I lived close to where they are. I would work there for a puck an hour.
Just keep sending them your money. Hate to see them burn out and close up. Gotta have them counting fat stacks in their spare time to keep it worth it.
Crazy coincidence. When I Google them, there is a shop in the town I grew up in! Booneville Arkansas SUPER EXICTED FACE ACTIVATE! My SWMBO decided yesterday I couldn't buy soap without smelling it, and the only shave store I know of is AoS and that's like 250 miles away. Solution to all my soap needs now!
Currently I have Port-au-Prince, Glacial Lavender, and Sharp Dressed Man in the rotation. I always have a favorite Stirling Soap, but it changes from time to time. Right now it is the Glacial Lavender. Unfortunately, it isn't listed on their site anymore. A prime example of why we wetshavers tend to hoard what we like.
Thanks. I can't tell you how nice it is to read something like this and know that some people do understand! I really appreciate the kind words from everyone on this thread. I think quite a few people have the impression that because we have so many products that we are a huge company and we should have the same turnaround as Amazon or even Maggard's. Truth is, Mandy and I make everything, my 19 year old stepbrother wraps and labels for us on Thursdays when he is off from school and Saturdays when he doesn't have drill, and we have two local 17 year old kids who help us with shipping in the afternoon. We're going to eventually try to bring on a full time employee again to replace Kurt, but right now everything is kind of stagnant thanks to market saturation, so we just do what we can to keep customers happy. Anyway, not everyone is as understanding, and not everyone is exactly cordial when they contact Mandy and I, so it's always a morale boost to come across something like this and the other posts on this thread. Important thing is, though, is that we still enjoy doing it, so we plan on sticking around. Oh, and Cocoa Forest is amazing, especially the aftershave.
As I said the other day on FB (BTW it's me Ray ) I am sure 99.9% of everyone understands all the stuff you guys are going through. Just keep plugging along and all of us who love your products will still be here and support you. I personally don't mind waiting a few extra days or even weeks to get stuff from you guys as it is always worth it. Again like I said you guys are doing great and you have a ton of people supporting you guys. P.S. I think a few people would like to see Cocoa Forest come back...
Your turnaround is plenty fast for me, Rod. I know it must be stressful to have to tend to everything with basically two people. Hang in there. I will always be a customer.
Rod, ya habibi, ya rowhi enta ahsan min kullum! It pains me to see when you have difficulties with your shipping and it pains me even more when some customers call and give you or Mandy attitude problems. For me your service cannot be any better - IMHO it's perfect! Allah ikhalik wa tislam idak!
We su We support you. I have an order enroute as we speak, but when it gets here is when it gets here. As long as the two of you run the business (and don't let the business run you) you will continue to enjoy what you're doing and we will all benefit with the end result.
The soap (sample) was enjoyable. Too bad I didn't get the aftershave. Did you find any extras after doing inventory?
The balms are the only thing that keep me able to shave in the long dry winters. I have tried several, but the Stirling is the only one I have anymore.
