A bit late on this... This was Monday night's head, face and neck shave. 3D printed "The Rebel" SE Adjustable made in custom University of Mississippi, aka Ole Miss Rebels, red and blue colors by Roger @SlimGem for me, using the B guard and a... Personna GEM stainless steel degreased and PTFE coated blade. I love this SE blade cartridge and dispenser system. And if you decide you want one of these dispensers and the blade cartridges make sure to get the 62-106 cartridge/blades as those are the ones for medical labs and shaving. I found a brand new cartridge of these blades - 100 blades - on eBay for $15 and the dispenser for $8.99 plus $5.69 shipping, also on eBay. See it in action: Italian Palmolive shaving cream Yaqi Aqua high mountain silvertip badger hair brush 7" Japanese suribachi bowl End result was a fantastic all over shave, including the head. Not BBS but definitely close. DFS for sure!
Yes sir and thank you! This is a fantastic razor design by Roger. The case he made for it was a last minute design, supposed to be a prototype. But it is perfect in every way. Absolutely love how he designed it to hold each guard plate in a separate slot, sort of like the old antique 7-Day wedge-blade sets. If he ever decides to come out with solid bar guard plates, the case will need to be somehow redesigned to hold all six guard plates. Another challenge that I know he'll solve! The razor itself is great design. The way you slide the blade and guard plate into the head and then screw in the handle that locks it all down via a handle catch indenture in the bottom of the blade and guard plate... Perfection.
Repeat performance with the PAL Injecto-Matic. It’s just a fabulous razor and one of the closest shaves you can get - period. I ran out of soaps and found some Tabac in the back of the closet. It must have been there a long time as the aroma was very mild. I’m sure there is some technique I need to learn using a stick but it did the job and did it well. Tonight's (Wednesday, July 28) face/neck/head shave featured... Raptor SE 3D printed razor, designed and printed by Roger @SlimGem Fresh Personna GEM stainless steel PTFE coated single edge blade dalan d'men Sensitive Shaving Cream Yaqi Aqua high mountain silvertip badger hair brush 7" Japanese suribachi bowl Süper düper über fantastic shave! BBS on the face and neck, DFS on the head. Because of a couple of moles around my head, I always, regardless of the razor, proceed lightly when shaving the dome real estate. It's very hard to get a BBS finish on the head. But it's always smooth enough to not see any shadow or missed strips. Another winning design by Roger!

Nice! V1 or the recently released V2 of the Parker adjustable injector? Edit: Nevermind the question. I see it's V1.
Could just be lighting and the angle, but I don't see the Parker logo on the handle. If the logo is not there, as it looks like it isn't in the photo, it's V1. If the logo is there, then it is just a lighting and angle issue and I can't see it and yes, it would be V2.
It was a lighting trick but if you look hard you can see it ( the etching ) in the other picture too....
Gotcha. Thank you. Couldn't see it in the other pic, even after I zoomed in on it. Granted my eyesight definitely isn't what it used to be, especially after the stroke. Do you have a V1 and if so, can you tell any difference in the shave between the V1 and V2? I've really been thinking about getting one of these.
No, I didn't even know this was a V2 until someone asked. I emailed the vender and he told me V2. The difference, I don't know except for the name on the handle. I did read a review by someone who got a bad one. QC missed a bad safety bar mechanism. Mine seems to work well. On 5 it is not aggressive, but it does give a good shave without irritation.
Fri 30th July Stirling Syn. 26mm Arko Stick-grated Ever Ready 1912 -ex Bathroom set Gem S/S [ 4 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion I rather like the sometimes derided Arko, especially then I got the brush homed in on the Soap. A great lather made the Shave go so nicely that I just worked away to get a superbly close all round finish - one of the best this week.
