Yesterday's shave with the Bunny V2.2 went very well. I finished it off with a splash of Aqua Velva.

The Arko Shave Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #424 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Yaqi ShaDE Razor with FHT Handle and a Gillette Silver Blue Half DE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Clubman Pinaud Lilac Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Still not ready to switch razors. The Bunny V2.2 by Tom White is an incredible work of design, execution and art.

Razor : Ever-Ready British streamline 2nd generation-Mfg 1949-53, upper mid range, Built to last with a little care, one of the nicest looking ASR razors made IMO. I like to put a RIGS shim underneath the modern blade spline for tilt to smooth out the shave. Once mastered this razor performs well with stellar close shaves, this morning was no exception for a close shave mostly carefree shaving but with a little more thought needed than usually.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(7) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooth's out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream- nice rose scent(5-6/10) with some excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm, brown whiskers synthetic Fan knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter(one of my best lather painters.).
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : + Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent stellar shave with my Ever-Ready Streamline with a coated Gem blade.

AC-Matic 3D - Schick Proline P #1 - Speick Vegan Stick - Yaqi Heavy Metal - Brut Attraction Totale - Aloe Vera Gel

Extremely impressed with the vegan version of Speick.
Lathering and performance were both as good as the tallow stick. And the scent, I recon is unchanged. Well done Speick! Pleased I bought two.
My old tallow stick has now been grated down and added to my bowl.

Sunday Schick shave, April 30th 2023

Razor : Schick J1 type injector, Mfg 1957-64, mild range, well built to last, I can shave quicker with a injector, quick clean up.
Had a carefree shave this morning.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE injector (8) sharp & smooth, very sharp, great longevity, smooth's out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Emperor, sharp scent that is hard to describe + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Cola" 22mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= great shave with my Schick J1 injector with a Personna coated blade.

Razor : Micromatic Clog Pruf, Peerless model- Mfg 1945, mid range, well designed and built to last many generations. This is one of favorite Micromatics of the 3 Micromatic base models that where produced for decades. Had a close comfortable no issues shave this morning with a historical excellent razor .
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade for handling.
Soap : La Toja stick, very mild scent with great lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Artic sky" 24mm 3band silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Amici splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my MMCP with a coated Gem blade.
