Razor : Oneblade Core SE- Mfg 2017>, mild razor, well built and should last with some care. I used this razor a lot when I first got it and have not used it for a regular shave in some time, not sure how old the de-splined Gem blade is. I use a Supie Gem hack stacked blade arrangement for getting great results. This is one of the few negative exposure razors I have where you can apply a little pressure for closer shaves. Great razor for shaving the back of my neck after a hair trimming also.
Blade : Gem de-splined blade (?), very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Yaqi Malibu, mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi "Purple haze" 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre-shave : Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 chin blemish weeper= Great shave with my One blade core with a de-splined Gem blade.

The Vintage Life Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher Razor and a C.V. Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Schick Sunday Shave, June 25th 2023

Razor : Schick Golden 500 injector with hydro magic- Mfg 1957-64, tame mid range. Long handled injector 5 3/8"(unisex razor?), well built to last and feels great in the hand. Personally long handles are aimed at women for shaving their legs is what I figure.
Had a close shave this morning with no issues.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE(6) very sharp, great longevity smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock The Dead Sea, very nice unique scent with excellent lather qualities. On 2 tub of this great soap.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers fan synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorite brushes, nice large handle with a quality knot, Won this on the Yaqi live sale.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The dead Sea AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 2 small chin weepers= excellent shave with my Schick Golden 500 with a Personna coated blade.

MMMonday, June 26th, 2023. Micromatic Monday, any ASR razor that uses a Gem blade, any day of the week.

Razor : Micromatic Clog Pruf, Peerless variant (17 nib safety bar) - Mfg 1945, mid range, very well built to last generations, I find this MMCP very easy to find the sweet spot angle and mostly a joy to use. I find this in the middle on the aggression scale of the Micromatic 3 main different variants my preferred it seems for final results.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(7) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest razor blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock "The Dead Sea" very nice unique scent that is one of my best scents I enjoy + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Artic Sky" 24mm, 3band silvertip, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This brush is a very nice splay scrubber with a decent handle also to lather with.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my MMCP with a coated Gem blade.

Shave 33 with the Bunny V2.2 and 26 with the Personna 74 loaded. No other razor in my collection has kept my attention the way the Bunny has. And I don't believe I've ever gotten this many shaves out of one blade before. And it's still going strong.

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE 50mm with a Yaqi 316 SS polished Milano handle- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range, simple clamping design, small head parts(I assemble under a wash cloth. One of my favorite SE razors, Very nimble to work under the nose area + it just performs well 95%> of the time for myself.
Blade : Schick proline p30 50mm (5) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Good match for this razor I have concluded.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood, nice scented Bayrum with excellent lather qualities. Also one of my favorite soaps.
Brush : Yaqi" Casino clubs " 26 mm timber wolf synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This has become one of the best brushes I like to spoil my self with this brush for the few minutes of Zen time.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur SE with Schick proline p30.

Shave 34 with the Bunny V2.2 and 27 with the Personna 74 loaded. I whipped up a fantastic Cellar lather with a mixed badger boar brush. The Captains choice copper bowl is wonderful. It fits perfectly in my hand and the textured bottom really helps build a great lather quickly.
