Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. Sunday Schick shave, July 2nd 2023

Razor : Schick E2 injector, Canadian variant- Mfg 1930'-40's, mid range, well built and designed to last generations with a little care. One of my most enjoyable Schick injectors. Had a great shave this morning.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE injector(8) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier- nice scented soap (Aramis clone) + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "black Marble" 24mm Tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This brush was my first Yaqi brush and it was purchased on defect sale about 3 yrs ago, it is one of my best brushes and got me interested in the Yaqi brand.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick E2 with a Personna coated blade.

I went with vintage Williams mug soap whipped up with my modified Omega boar for shave 35 with the Bunny V2.2. This is shave 28 with the Personna 74 loaded. Aqua Velva is always a good finishing touch for a Williams shave.

MMMonday, July 3rd, 2023. Micromatic Monday, any ASR razor that uses a Gem blade any day of the week!

Razor : Gem Junior 1912 parade with baton handle variant- Mfg 1943, Tame mid range, will built and designed with this very interesting tapered plastic handle that is self standing and a joy to use. Close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest razor blade to handle.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild rose cream, nice rose scent 5-6 /10 strength with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Bali"24mm 3band silvertip, excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem Jr 1912 with a coated Gem blade. Had a great comfortable shave this morning with no issues.

My first use of the Asylum kindly loaned to me by a shaver on a UK forum. Quite heavy and maybe me a bit of a fiddle to load as not a true Injector, but a Razor that uses Injecctor blades. Not a lot of blade feel, so that it could be very easy to overshave if not careful.
The finish that I got was a bit patchy in places.
