The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with Tom's B400 Two-band Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor and a Supply Black Label Blade Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Shave 47 with the Bunny V2.2 and 40 with the Personna 74 loaded. Holy cow 40 shaves with the same blade and it's still going.

My last Shave with the Asylum which I have had on loan. Works very well with the AC blade as a Daily Shaver, but also good at clearing 3 days harsh growth.

After using the smaller Asylum, I had no problems with The Hawk. A very smooth and comfortable Shave, and very pleased to get a nice close

 

SE SOTD, Friday, August 11th 2023

Razor : Yaqi SE Excalibur AC type 50mm with a Yaqi Milano SSP handle- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range, simple clamping system, very nimble small head to work the beard area(I assemble over a washcloth). A good affordable razor head that gives me excellent shaves consistently, I prefer the chrome head over the matte finished head Excalibur. Had a great close shave this morning !
Blade : Schick proline p30(5) sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC blade.
Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside, nice scented soap 4-5/10 + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers fan knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Yaqi Fan knots are rare and won this on a live raffle sale months ago.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Irish Countryside AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm with a Schick proline blade. This SE razor is ideal for my shaving needs but the blades are more money than a DE blades.

Sunday Schick shave, August 13 2023

Razor : Schick adjustable M3, Mfg 1970-72, well built to last with some care, I receive excellent shaves with this razor and it seems to be blade forward even on setting #1. Had a great shave & haircut this morning with no issues.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE (8) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice clean XXX scent with excellent lather qualities. Good deal when on sale IMO.
Brush : Yaqi "Deep stones" 24mm black synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3) + ATG(3) + pickups(4 setting).
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Schick injector Model 3(M3) with a Personna coated blade.
