SE SOTD, Friday August 25th 2023

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE 50mm AC with a Milano 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range. Very simple clamping system with small razor head parts to assemble(I assemble on a washcloth for ease). This little razor head is very nimble and works very well on my face + affordable. I seem to get steady excellent stellar shaves 95%> of the time like this mornings shave.
Blade : Schick proline p30 (1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity, excellent match up with my Excalibur razor.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum with Sandalwood, nice scented Bayrum with excellent lather qualities. I like the Sandal wood Aftershave lotion that goes with this soap.
Brush : Yaqi " Coat tails" 24mm G4 synthetic, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, excellent splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This synthetic knot is a close to my 3 & 2 band badgers for face feel.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel soap residual cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood AS lotion + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent stellar comfortable close shave this morning with a coated Schick proline p30 blade.
