We got some much needed rain, and our neighborhood weathered the storms pretty well. There were trees down around town, and one community had a mud slide, but all the bad stuff passed us by.

Glad to hear you got mostly the good stuff from it. I saw on the news all the flooding and the mud. We had a lot of rain and winds too. A lot of tornadoes too. But we only had a couple of trees down near us.

Razor: Gem Push button, Mfg 1958-65, excellent tame mid range, black & gold make this razor best eye candy, different method of clamping blade.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (3) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Speick, nice spicy scent, excellent lather qualities- recommend this triple milled soap.
Brush: Yaqi 2band(Finest badger)barber pole, great for large hands, excellent lather generator, pillow soft tips, nice scrubber, great lather painter IMO.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post: Ach Brito Lavada with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Gem Push button with a Gem coated blade.

Razor: Everready 1924(AKA Shovel head),Mfg1924-33, great mid range, ER Steamline strop handle, loads from back.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(4) Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Razorock Irish Countryside, mild scent, excellent lather qualities, great pricing.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard face.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock Emperor (Creed Aventis knockoff?)with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea Balm with HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Everready 1924 + a coated Gem blade.

My first use of the Proline in The Raster, and I am so pleased at how well The Combo works. The Shave was very smooth with a super close all round finish. Has to be a best buy of 2021, feel lucky to have got one.

Am afraid that after using The Raster with Kai blades, I made a couple of ill thought out strokes and got a cut and weeper. Rather a shame as otherwise the Shave was good. A long time since I actually had evidence of Razor damage on my face.
